# Privacy Policy

Mocha Cat ("we", "I", "us") runs the store at mochacat.in. This policy explains what personal information I collect when you visit or order, how it's used, and the choices you have. I keep it simple and collect only what's needed to run a small handmade-pottery business.

**What I collect**
- **When you order:** your name, email, phone/WhatsApp number, shipping and billing address, and order details.
- **Payment information:** processed securely by my payment provider (Cashfree) or handled directly via UPI. I do not store your full card or bank details.
- **When you browse:** basic device and usage data through cookies and similar technologies, so the site works and I can understand what's popular.

**How I use it**
- To process, pack and ship your order, and to contact you about it (usually on WhatsApp).
- To respond to enquiries and custom-order requests.
- To improve the shop and, occasionally, to show relevant products or offers.

**Who I share it with**
I share data only with the services that help run the store:
- **Shopify** — hosts the store and processes orders.
- **Cashfree** — processes payments (when active).
- **Shipping partners** — to deliver your order.
- **Meta (Facebook & Instagram)** — the store uses the **Meta Pixel** and Conversions API to measure and improve advertising. This may share certain activity and contact data with Meta to match and show relevant ads. You can limit this via your Facebook "Off-Facebook Activity" settings.
- **Google** — analytics and Search Console to understand site traffic.

I don't sell your personal information.

**Cookies**
The site uses cookies to keep your cart working, remember preferences, and measure traffic and ads. You can control cookies in your browser settings; blocking some may affect how the site works.

**Your rights**
You can ask me to access, correct, or delete the personal information I hold about you, or to stop marketing to you. Just email or WhatsApp me (details below) and I'll help. In line with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, I keep your data only as long as needed to run the business and meet legal obligations.
